Nestled in lush tropical gardens wonderfully maintained, the luxury beach front suites and the thatched roofs of the Gauguin Cottages give a distinctly Pacific feel. Understated yet elegant the hotel offers quality all inclusive with good facilities. Note: Adults only resort for couples.  

The Seagrape is the main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Gauguin is a more intimate dining experience which is open for casual lunches and a more formal dinner. Galley Bay now has a third restaurant Ismay's, which has a new menu which includes cocktails and canapes followed by a six course gourmet meal ($35pp supplement for Ismay's).

There is live entertainment every evening. There is also a secluded beach bar popular for sunset hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. A beachside wooden deck links the Sea Grape restaurant and Sunset Bar to reception which houses a small library.

The freeform pool has a lovely rock waterfall, sun terrace and is a lovely place to relax. Guests can rent bicycles, play tennis, exercise in the gym and use the free non-motorised watersports on offer at the beach. Golf can be played at a nearby 18 hole course and St John's offers a variety of shops, boutiques and restaurants.  

Gauguin Cottages have a private splash pool and sun deck and are located in the gardens, close to the bird sanctuary. Gauguin Cottages are two thatched rondavels which connect a separate air conditioned bedroom with a private bathroom.  
Superior Beachfront rooms are located directly on the beach with a private patio and shower. Interiors have all recently been refurbished with new soft furnishings. The louvered windows have been replaced by glass to offer wonderful beachfront views.  
Deluxe Beachfront rooms are on ground or first floor with a large beach patio and beach shower. Bathrooms have ‘his and hers’ showers. Second floor suites boast spectacular ocean views from the balconies.  
Premium Beachfront Suites have a private furnished terrace or patio and feature a sunken living room and are more spacious.

DRESS CODE for evening dining is smart casual and shoes must be worn. For gents, collared shirts and long trousers (no jeans or 3/4 length trousers). Shorts, trainers and t-shirts are not permitted.
