The all inclusive Discovery Bay by rex resort is a plantation-style house and gardens, positioned on St James beach, on the fashionable West coast of Barbados. Days at Discovery Bay are centred on the beach, the pool and the Sugarbird Bar and Grill. Swim out to the hotel's raft to work on your tan or enjoy a range of beauty treatments and massage at the Salon. Not far from Holetown on the West coast of Barbados, the Discovery Bay hotel is a well established and very popular resort.
Evenings bring the opportunity to enjoy authentic Bajan cuisine, alongside international favourites at the hotel’s informal Garden restaurant, with buffet-style and table d’hote menus. After dinner relax in the Lobby bar where there is regular evening entertainment including steel pan and local bands.
The resort faces a lovely stretch of fine white sand on the calm and sheltered West coast of Barbados. Holetown is just a short walk away and has a selection of shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars. The international airport is approximately a 45 minute transfer and getting up and down the coast is easy either by local bus or taxi. Several golf courses are within easy reach as are an abundance of restaurants and shops.
Garden rooms All rooms have cable TV, tea/coffee maker, ensuite with bath and shower plus hairdryer, air-conditioning and balcony or terrace.
Beachfront rooms ane the same as Garden rooms, with a balcony or terrace on the beachfront, with seaviews.
Beachfront Club Rooms are larger with an extra seating area and a balcony or terrace on the beachfront, with seaviews.
