The Amaryllis Beach Resort is set in 6 acres of beautiful tropical gardens, facing a lovely stretch of white-sand beach that’s safe for swimming and one of the best beaches in Barbados. The resort is 5 minutes to the Capital Bridgetown and 10 minutes to the lively St Lawrence Gap and Oistins Airport transfer time 30 minutes.

There is a range of accommodation suitable for 2 sharing, from well appointed rooms to self catering studios and one or two bedroom apartment style suites that have kitchen facilities (the resort has a convenience store on site). The resort is not just an all inclusive hotel and you can book a stay on room only basis (no meals) there is a choice of restaurants in the resort and the lively St Lawrence Gap with it's many bars and restaurants and Bridgetown are approx a 10 minute taxi ride away. Guests who choose the all-inclusive option can dine in either the Almond Tree Restaurant or the Turtle Nest Beach Bar.

The Almond Tree Restaurant has a delightful oceanfront terrace serving local and international cuisine, open for breakfast, and dinner (closed for dinner twice weekly), the Turtle Nest Beach Bar serves lunch and snacks with a Beach Side Grill twice a week. Additional dining can be enjoyed at the Chattel Plaza, next to the resort, offers a wine bar, coffee shop, hair and beauty salon (all local charge), plus independently managed Coffee Bean coffee shop, 39 Steps Restaurant and The 19th Hole Golf Café located adjacent to the resort.  

There are two swimming pools, one located in the garden the other close to the beach, a childrens’ wading pool and a beachfront jacuzzi. Water sports, excellent snorkeling with an offshore reef, complimentary use of non-motorised equipment including kayaks. There is also a fitness centre and free tennis (at nearby property, in walking distance). The 18 Hole Barbados Golf and Country Club is conveniently located just 15 minutes drive away. For families there is a babysitting service, 24 hours notice required, local charge. Child activities available on a seasonal basis. Child menus available for dining.

Garden View Rooms on 3 floors in 3 buildings with 2 lifts. All have twin or king beds, air conditioning, TV (cable), clock radio, coffee maker, small fridge, room safe (additional charge), iron and board, hairdryer and a patio or balcony with garden, pool or partial ocean views. Ocean front rooms at a supplement. Sleeps max of 2 adults.
Adapted Rooms Wheelchair accessible rooms have 2 double beds and roll-in shower, sleeping max 2 adults. Designed to conform to American Disability Association (ADA) and international standards for the disabled. Have garden views. Please contact us for a quote. Sleeps max of 2 adults.
Garden view studio - As rooms, but more spacious and have a kitchenette (equipped with two burner stove top and microwave, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery & crockery, refrigerator) and room to hold a rollaway bed for 3rd person. Ocean View studios at a supplement. Sleeps max of 2 adults.
Garden view deluxe studio - Same facilities as studios, but more spacious and have a rollaway bed for 3rd person. Ocean View deluxe studios at a supplement. Sleeps max of 3 adults.
One bedroom garden view suite - Same facilities as deluxe studio. Have a king bed in a separate bedroom (with TV) and sofa-bed in the living room. Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children.
Ocean View Two Bedroom suites have an additional bedroom and sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults & 2 children. One bedroom ocean view suites at a supplement.

NOTE: The 39 Steps Wine Bar & Restaurant, The Coffee Bean, Coffee Shop & Snacks & The 19th Hole Cafe- Bar with Virtual Golf & Games late night snacks are NOT part of the Amaryllis meal plans and must be purchased locally. Coffee for room coffee makers, available for purchase in Convenience Store. Other amenities include the The Sea Shell Conference Centre with internet with high-speed web connection and a self-service laundry (local charge).

Dress code: No shorts for evening dining. Non smoking policy in all rooms and enclosed public areas.
