Caribbean Christmas offers - how find the best deals.

Typically holidays in December 2011 to January 2012 to the Caribbean, give best value by booking in, January, February and March or later in September, October and early November while there is still availability. So start looking and booking as early as you can. Although flight choices may become limited closure to departure date, there is a range of resorts waiting to welcome you at this festive time of year. Forget the snow and rain, spend time in the sunshine in a tropical destination.

At peak times like Christmas, New Year and Easter, availability will depend on the flights and the choice of hotel. Picking a large hotel on an island with more frequent flight schedules, gives a better opportunity of finding a good deal and even the room type you'd like, especially if you want an ocean view of the Caribbean on Christmas morning.

You'll usually find the best Christmas and New Year deals to the Caribbean, and those which suit your budget, when you are flexible on your travel dates. You'll have more choice when booking as early as possible.

If you want to travel at peak travel periods, waiting for a last minute, late deal will become harder to find and may cost much more than if you'd booked early. So to travel at these times, we suggest that it's best to book as early as you can. There will be more holiday choice to islands with frequent flights from Gatwick, for instance Barbados, Antigua or St Lucia all have frequent flight services from the UK with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. Some islands will offer much better value, if you are on a tight budget when you book early.

All Inclusive Caribbean resorts offer good value at Christmas because you don't need to worry about your spending money and you can relax knowing that everything is included in the resort. You won't even need to pack a beach towel. Barbados and Antigua are both very popular for all inclusive Christmas breaks, both islands have a large selection of luxury resorts and many are all inclusive.
