Self catering holidays in Grenada>

Blue Horizons Resort is a charming cottage style hotel with only 26 suites 6 smaller studios, all have a fully equipped kitchen, stylish contemporary furnishings and are attractively designed. The resort is family owned and managed and offers a completely relaxed ambience, set in tropical gardens with over 20 different spices of tropical birds. This small property lends itself well to families and couples who enjoy having self-catering facilities in a small resort environment. Centrally located and close to the beach, shopping mall, restaurants and public transport.

The hotel's restaurant, La Belle Creole, serves continental cuisine with a strong West Indian influence and has lovely scenic views. The pool and pool bar opens from 11am - 6.30 pm and there is a lunchtime menu. There is an air conditioned lounge with TV, large sun terrace, open-air jacuzzi and fresh water swimming pool, there is also a small childrens's play area.

Guests can also take advantage of free Green Fees at the nearby 9 hole Grenada Golf club. In addition Blue Horizon guests may also take advantage of certain facilities at the sister Spice Island Beach Resort which is located directly on Grand Anse Beach (5 minute walk) such as non-motorised watersports and beach sun loungers are available free of charge for guests at Blue Horizons.

Accommodation
Superior Studios sleep 2, are open plan and air-conditioned with one king bed (ideal for couples), ceiling fan, TV and CD player/clock radio, room safe, iron/iron board, fully equipped kitchenette with cooker, fridge, coffee maker and an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and hairdryer. Each studio has a small terrace with garden views.

Deluxe Suites sleep up to 4, have the same self catering facilities as Studios, but are much larger and more suited to families, with a separate bedroom with either a one king or 2 queen size beds plus a sleeper sofa in the living area, they have a large terrace or balcony with garden views. Some suites interconnect, ideal for larger families or groups.

Blue Horizons Resort is a short walking distance to a variety of shops, banks and restaurants in the Grand Anse area whilst the Grenada Golf Club is about 10 minutes taxi away. Airport transfers take approximately 15 minutes and St George’s, the capital is less than a 10 minute drive away.

Family holidays Deluxe Suites at Blue Horizons sleep 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children. Child under 16 stay free sharing with parents in a Deluxe Suite. Children under 11 years eat free from the child menu when 2 adults book breakfast or half board.
