Originally a 17th century sugar plantation, Ottley's Plantation Inn transports guest to a bygone era of gracious living, hospitality and elegance. Situated on 35 acres of rolling lawns and gardens in the foothils of majestic Mt. Liamuiga, with breathtaking views of the Atlantic, Ottley's is a magnificent Caribbean hideaway, a perfect, restful spot for travelers seeking a retreat from the hectic pace of daily life. This romantic inn is blessed with a secluded, but not remote, location.  

The hillside location virtually guarantees breezes that are cooling year-round, and the natural setting provides panoramic ocean, mountain and garden views at every turn. Transfers from the airport take about 20 minutes. The historic capital of St. Kitts, Basseterre and a choice of two Caribbean beaches are within 15 to 20 minutes by car. The resort will provide a daily shuttle to the local beach.  

Dine in the renowned Royal Palm Restaurant which has a 66-foot, spring-fed pool nestled in the remaining stone walls of the old sugar factory. Enjoy dishes with fresh island ingredients at Ottley's acclaimed restaurant known for extraordinary "New Island Cuisine". Chef de Cuisine Pamela Yahn uses her endlessly inventive culinary genius to create meals certain to satisfy the most sophisticated of palates. Romantic candlelit dinners feature nightly changing, innovative menus. Daily lunch is served poolside.  

There is a daily shuttle for guests who wish to visit the beach. A choice of two Caribbean beaches, local shopping in Basseterre and the acclaimed 18-hole Frigate Bay golf course; all just 15-20 minutes away. Ottley's have a hard surface tennis court and two mountain bikes are available for the more adventurous with nature trails and walks around the extensive gardens. The Mango Orchard Spa overlooks the tropical views and provides massage, facials and manicures (local charge).  

With 24 rooms in total, the plantation's acclaimed plantation Great House and Caribbean cottage rooms, as well as the most luxurious St Kitts villa, the Grand Villa, are decorated in English colonial style with wicker and carved mahogany furniture and a collection of local artwork and crafts.  
Standard Rooms are located in a garden cottage or in the Great House itself. Rooms have ocean and/or garden views and have a queen bed and sleep 2 persons.  
Deluxe Rooms, most are in Great House, a couple are in cottages. All are very large, airy and beautifully appointed, with views of ocean and gardens. Most have king-sized beds, the others have two queen or twin beds  
Supreme Rooms, the master bedroom in each Royal Suite cottage may be reserved individually as a Supreme room. Our most popular accommodation, these spacious rooms are luxuriously furnished with colonial style mahogany furniture and a king or queen bed. A Jacuzzi enhances each Italian tiled bathroom. A patio with sun deck and private plunge pool add to the romanticism of these special rooms.

Note: Standard and Deluxe Rooms: Specific locations (Grounds vs Great House) can be request but can not be guaranteed.

Children 10 years and under are accepted in the Royal Suite Only and will pay an extra person charge (3rd person). Call for 3rd person rates (from £995 for 7nts). It is therefore in our view, that while children are welcome, the Ottley's Plantation Inn is more suitable for families with older children.

Meal Plans: Prices are on room only basis. You can book optional meal plans with Breakfast from £130 and Half Board from £440 (per person per week). Note: Full breakfast served Mon-Sat, and continental only on Sundays.
