Anse Chastanet, is the winner of several international awards, ideal for couples, honeymooners and romantics who appreciate the serenity and complete tranquillity of this unique and secluded tropical hideaway. Located on the picturesque and lush west coast close to the famous Pitons, the town of Soufriere dates back to 1713. Close to this sleepy town are a number of natural attractions which draw visitors to this part of the island.

This romantic resort occupies a fraction of the 600 acre surrounding estate and had been designed in harmony with nature to complement the island's natural beauty. This part of the unspoiled south-western coast is quite and relaxed – guests can enjoy two beaches including Anse Mamin, just around the corner and reached by the resort's water taxi. The philosophy of the resort means that rooms do not have a TV, radio or telephone. No two rooms or suites are exactly alike and are spread across the hillside or down on the main beach and close to the PADI diver centre. Some rooms have a formal separation between the bedroom and sitting room while others are open plan.

There are many activities on offer, from snorkelling, scuba diving, tennis, sailing to jungle biking or a nature walk among the ruins of a colonial plantation. The less actively inclined "simply do nothing", lie on the beach or enjoy one of the therapeutic body and beauty treatments offered by the spa located at beach level. There's also a casual, beachside bar and elegant restaurant. A panoramic hillside terrace is where breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily. Dinners are a romantic candlelit affair with a daily changing menu celebrating Tropical World Cuisine, with musical backdrops provided by local entertainers. Please note that there are approximately 100 steps leading from beach level to the mid-hillside level, thus making the property unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or cardiac problems. However the hotel has a shuttle service upon request.

Children unser 10 years are not permitted at this resort. Children stay and eat free when sharing with 2 adults between 01/07/10 - 30/09/10.
