Ladera was once part of Rabot Estate, one of Soufrière's oldest and most famous cocoa plantations. In 1982 it was transformed into a unique, intimate hideaway. It boasts a magnificent location nestled high in the hills overlooking the sea and Pitons.

The resort provides complimentary full breakfast daily and afternoon tea in Ladera's botanical garden, full use of resort facilities, complimentary facilities. Wireless internet access in resort. Full service pool deck with pool attendants ready to provide food, beverage, beach towel and umbrella service. Daily beach shuttle service throughout the day to Jalousie Beach and Anse Chastanet Beach. Although Ladera is perfect for relaxing, the hotel can arrange a variety of activities for you (local charge) including: hiking, rainforest walks with local guides, sailing excursions, scuba diving and snorkelling trips, spa treatments, tennis, watersports at nearby beaches and horseback riding.

Enjoy fine dining for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Dasheene Restaurant and Bar, where guests and visitors, enjoy award-winning cuisine and spectacular views overlooking the Twin Pitons. Chef Orlando can even take you on the market tour one morning, where he selects local produce.

Accommodation
There are 9 villas and 23 suites all are located on a mountain ridge with amazing views of the sea and Pitons. All guest suites are open-air. An open wall in each suite transports you directly into the midst of our surrounding hillside paradise, while offering complete privacy and safety. Suites have open plan bedroom and spacious seating / living areas which are beautifully furnished with tropical hardwood, stone and tile and with furniture made at Ladera by local artists in their own studio providing and individual style to each suite and villa. Comfortable four poster beds have crisp white linens and mosquito netting so nothing bothers you at night.

Petit Piton Suite - spacious open-air bedroom with a four poster queen bed and seating area with Piton and Caribbean Sea view, private plunge pool and waterfall, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities.
Gros Piton Suite - features a spacious open-air living room with uninterrupted views of the Piton and Caribbean Sea and is adjacent to an open-air bedroom with four-poster queen bed, private plunge pool and waterfall, mini bar and tea/ coffee making facilities.
Luxury One Bedroom Villa Suite - features an open-air living room with day bed and ensuite bathroom. The four-poster queen bed can be placed in living room, but this does not provide a private sleeping area.
Luxury Two Bedroom Villa Suite - features open-air living room with separate dining room area. Second floor open-air master bedroom with four poster king bed and ensuite.
Ladera’s Hilltop Dream Suites - compliment the Two Bedroom Villas and Piton Suites, offering larger living spaces, King Beds, upgraded bath areas with double sinks and large showers. Each Dream Suite has a unique layout, some with two levels and spiral staircases. A private deck and a spiral staircase lead to a private plunge pool.

Tai Kai Pose (Little House of Rest) Spa offers a selection of pampering spa treatments in an intimate setting, or enjoy your selected spa treatment in the comfort and privacy of your suite or villa.

Children 10-17 years inclusive year-round. During Christmas, New Year and Easter children ages 5-17 years are welcome.
