Holiday sale - at the St Lucian by rex

The popular and well established St Lucian by rex resorts has comfortable accommodation and good dining options. The beachside Mariners restaurant is justifiably popular not least for its great sea views, relaxed ambience and good food. More formal dining can be enjoyed at the air-conditioned Oriental restaurant offering Indian, Thai, Chinese and Japanese dishes (a la carte - extra local charge, reservations required). Relax in the cocktail lounge or piano bar. Alternatively try the mini mart, boutiques and Quarter Deck café located in the Courtyard close to reception, a great place to find ice-creams and refreshments throughout the day.

There is a beachside swimming pool with swim up bar and sun deck plus an open-air jacuzzi nestled in a small tropical garden. A selection of non motorised watersports, such as sunfish sailing, snorkelling and windsurfing. Watersports tuition available (local charge). Children have use of the supervised kids club which operates Mon to Fri (morning and afternoon). Babysitting can arranged on request.

Located directly on the palm fringed sands of the lovely Reduit Beach, on St Lucia’s north-west coast. The popular Rodney Bay Village is just a couple of minutes walk away offering a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Airport transfers take approximately 90 minutes from Hewanorra in the south of the island.

Rooms: All rooms are well appointed and all have air conditioning, TV, fridge, in-room safe, tea & coffee maker, telephone, radio, ensuite with hair dryer and either a balcony or patio area. Rooms sleep 2 adults and 2 children except for Papillon rooms which only sleep two people.

Papillon rooms have one king or twin beds and sleep only 2 adults, the ensuites only have showers, no bath tub. Garden rooms are larger with one king or two double beds, ensuites with bath/shower and garden or partial pool views. Poolview rooms are similar to Garden rooms, but are located near the pool and have pool views. Seafacing rooms are located close to the beach and have sea views. Beachfront rooms are larger with a small sitting area and access to a private garden and are located closest to the beach and to the Mariners outdoor restaurant.

DRESS CODE: Smart Casual in the evenings with long trousers and collared shirts for gents. SMOKING POLICY There is a non-smoking in all rooms, public areas and restaurants in the resort.
