b>Blue Waters Inn holidays in Tobago


Recently refurbished, now with a new swimming pool set close to the beach and spacious sun deck for realaxing and enjoying the scenic views over the ocean. Blue Waters Inn is a little gem of a hotel tucked away at Batteaux Bay on Speyside on the north of Tobago. Located on a small cove, set amongst 46 acres of lush tropical grounds with just 38 beachfront rooms, studios with kitchenettes and beachfront bungalows, this is a small, low key resort, ideal for those wanting a truly tropical escape. The sandy beach which is considered safe for swimming, is only steps away to your accommodation giving all rooms amazing sea views. Complimentary use of kayaks and beach chairs.  

If you can tear yourself away from the new sea water pool, there is plenntly to do. The location is great for outdoor adventures and hiking with access to onsite nature trails. Tours and excursions can be arranged (local charge) for you to explore the natural surrounding trails where you will find exotic birds, butterflies and many indigenous plants. Keen bird-watchers will enjoy a boat trip to the nearby small island, Little Tobago bird sanctuary. Tobago's lush main ridge forest is approximately 30 minutes by car.  

Dining options include the comfortable air-conditioned Fishpot Restaurant which serves continental, full and local breakfast and specialises in Seafood, Caribbean and International cuisine. The Shipwreck bar is the place to realx during the day, with views across the bay it serves a selection of light meals and snacks. The Bird's Nest is an air-conditioned recreation room for guests with satellite TV, library and a PC with internet connection.  

On site there is a full service P.A.D.I. International Gold Palm (5 star) facility operated by Aquamarine Dive. Divers can easily board dive boats from the resorts private jetty and dock. The area has many great dive sites for all levels.  

There are a few shops locally. The Speyside Inn and Jemmas Tree House Restaurant are nice to visit for lunch. Charlottesville a small fishing village close by is about 10 minutes by taxi or car and has a connivence store and a few local places to dine. Airport transfers takes approx 60 minutes.  

All the rooms at Blue Waters Inn face the ocean at Batteaux Bay and are beachfront located on ground or first floor. All have air conditioning and ceiling fans, spacious patios or balconies and are are close to the beach and hotel facilities. Rooms have cable TV's. Wifi available in resort.   

Standard room - Seafacing rooms either have a twin or a king bed plus en-suite shower room and sleep on various floors with a patio or balcony (sleep 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children).
Studio/Deluxe Room larger than Standard rooms and are open plan with a living area and small kitchenette with a patio or balcony. Sleeps 2.
Two Bed Studio Studio/Deluxe Room plus an additional standard room. Interconnecting rooms, sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.
One Bed Beachfront Bungalows There are two of the one bed bungalows. These are located at one end of the beach and have private patios, full size kitchen, dining & living room (ceiling fan), bedroom (air-conditioned), one king bed and sleep 2 adults only. The two bedroom bungalow has a twin & king bedroom. Sleep up to 4 adults & 2 children. Child age 11 years or under.
