Blue Waters Inn is a little gem of a hotel tucked away at Batteaux Bay on Speyside amongst 46 acres of lush tropical grounds. With 38 beachfront rooms, self catering studios and beachfront bungalows, this is a small, low key resort located right on the beachfront overlooking the bay. The sandy beach which is considered safe for swimming, is so close to all the accommodation, it more than makes up for the fact there is no swimming pool.  

There is access to onsite nature trails. The location is great for outdoor adventures and hiking. Tours and excursions can be arranged (local charge) for you to explore the natural surrounding trails where you will find exotic birds, butterflies and many indigenious plants. Keen birdwatchers will enjoy a boat trip to the nearby small island, Little Tobago bird sanctuary. Complimenatary guest sevices include, use of kayaks, beach chairs and towels.  

Dining options include the informal Fishpot Restaurant which serves continental, full and local breakfast and specialises in Seafood, Caribbean and International cuisine. The Shipwreck bar with views across the bay serves a selection of light meals and snacks throughout the day. The Bird's Nest is an air-conditioned recreation room for guests with satellite TV, library and a PC with internet connection (subject to availability).  

Some of Tobago's finest hiking and nature trails pass close to the hotel and offer excellent opportunities for bird watching. Guests can book boat trips to Little Tobago bird sanctuary (approx. 10 mins boat trip away) and St. Giles island, the southern Caribbean's largest seabird colony, and Tobago's lush main ridge forest is approximately 30 minutes by car.  

On site there is a full service P.A.D.I. International Gold Palm (5 star) Facility operated by Aquamarine Dive. Divers can easily board dive boats from the resorts private jetty and dock.  

There are a few shops locally. The Speyside Inn and Jemmas Tree House Restaurant are nice to visit for lunch. Charlottesville a small fishing village close by is about 10 minutes by car and has a connivence store and a few local places to dine. Airport transfers the scenic route takes approx 80 minutes.  

All the rooms at Blue Waters Inn face the ocean at Batteaux Bay and are beachfront located on ground or first floor. All have air conditioning and ceiling fans, spacious patios or balconies and are are close to the beach and hotel facilities. No TV's.   

Standard room - (sleep 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) either have a twin or a king bed plus en-suite shower room and sleep.
Studio/Deluxe Room are open plan with a living area with a small kitchenette.
Two Bed Studio Studio/Deluxe Room plus an additional standard room. Interconnecting rooms, sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.
One Bed Beachfront Bungalows There are two of the one bed bungalows. These are located at one end of the beach and have private patios, full size kitchen, dining and living room (ceiling fan), bedroom (air-conditioned), one king bed and sleep 2 adults only. The two bedrooms bungalow has a twin and king bedroom and sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children. Child age is 11 years or under.  

Studio/Deluxe Room are an extra £80 per person per week compared to the Standard room prices below. One Bedroom bungalows need to be booked well in advance to ensure availability. Please contact us or request a quote, for two bedroom bungalows.
