Smugglers Cove is a village style resort which is particularly well-suited for couples and families. The hotel is set in a 60 acre plantation beside a lovely beach at Cap Estate on the northern tip of St Lucia. The capital, Castries is about 30 minutes away and the shopping and attractions of Rodney Bay is only a 15 minutes by taxi. Airport transfers 90 minutes.

There are plenty of dining choices and the four gourmet restaurants offer a choice of delicious cuisine. The Cove is open for buffet breakfast and lunch and themed buffet dinner. La Trattoria is a casual Italian eatery with pizza, pasta and salads and the Waterside Grill specializes in seafood cuisine. Cafe Asia is an adults only restaurant serving oriental dishes - open for dinner only (adults over 16 yrs). Reservations are required for dinner at all restaurants. There are five bars including a swim-up bar in the adults pool, evening entertainment daily plus a weekly manager's cocktail party.

There are six swimming pools spread around the beachfront and gardens, with one for adults only, one children’s pool with a 100 foot-long waterslide. And so many activities to choose from; floodlit tennis and fitness gym at the Raquet Club, beach volleyball, table tennis, squash and two childrens playgrounds. Down at the beach there are non-motorised water sports; sailing, snorkelling, kayaks, windsurfing and water-skiing. A Spa at the Raquet Club offers a wide range of treatments, massages, facials, manicures and pedicures (treatments payable locally). FREE Wi-Fi in lobby.

The free kids' club caters for all ages from newborn babies up to teens with fully equipped activity centres. Parents may relax and enjoy themselves knowing their children are supervised by qualified staff or join them in family activities. Age groups: Nursery newborns to 36 months (nappies, formula not supplied), Mini Club 2 - 4 years, Kids Club 5 - 12 years and Teen Centre 13 - 16 years (9-5pm). For evening child care, babysitting can be arranged in resort (payable locally).

The recently refurbished rooms are located in single storey buildings spread around the tropical gardens or overlooking the sea. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, tea-coffee maker, iron and ironing board, bathroom with tub and shower and hairdryer.

Saver Rooms have one king bed and sleep 2 adults or 3 adults with 1 child (rollaway bed). Garden Views
Standard Rooms have one king bed and sleep 3 adults or 3 adults with 2 children. Garden Views
Deluxe Garden View Rooms have vaulted ceilings, are more spacious and sleep 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. Garden Views
Superior Deluxe Garden View Rooms are in a quiet hillside location near the Raquet Club, sleep 3 adults or 2 adluts wiht 2 children, terrace and garden views.
Superior Deluxe Beachfront Rooms close to the beach or on Smugglers Cove on the hillside, sleep 2 adults only, ocean views.
One Bed Garden Views Suites ideal for families. They have one separate bedroom with king or twin beds and an adjoining living area with queen size pull out sofa, sleeping up to 4 adults or 2 adults plus 2 or 3 children, for occupancy child age 0 - 16 years. Cots can be requested.

DRESS CODE: Elegantly casual for evening dining. Gents collared shirts and long trousers (no shorts, sleeveless shirts, flip flops or tank tops please). Smart shorts are allowed in the Cove restaurant only. Gentlemen cannot wear vests for breakfast or lunch.
